The staff were very friendly, the hotel had a lovely lobby area and places to sit and relax. The restaurant was good with a variety of food.

The location was great in exploring the nearby sightseeings like the Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. It was also a very good hotel ovetall. Aircon worked well.

The staff were exceptional. We were in town for over a week bc a family member was in the hospital. The staff went out of their way to not only make sure we were comfortable but to help us on a personal level. They even welcomed our dog which we had to bring bc of our emergency Special thanks to Front desk Blanka and the doorman/security man (Amand? Can’t remember sorry). The facility was spotless. We were amazed at how absolutely quiet it was inside the room as there is double paned windows. The engineering team is doing an exceptional job as the AC worked really well and was the quietest I have ever encountered in a hotel! Terrific water pressure too. Beds was firm which was great for me, but my husband would have liked the option to have a mattress topper. The front desk again helped out sending multiple duvets to create a softer base. It is close to Union Square which is good and bad as the City continues to displace its houseless population closer to this area without actually helping them; but this is on the mayor not the hotel. It's a very beautiful building in and out, and the hotel management has certainly done a good job to capitalise on that, and let that aesthetic extrude, but putting up flowers and decorative things on the outside. I found the lobby very elegant and nice to spend time in while I was waiting or relaxing; the room was very nice and clean, all the facilities I wanted were there, the bed was a very comfortable sleep. The staff were nice and helpful. The location is quite close from union sq and market st - which has a lot of public transport options to get around and go downtown/towards the water. Also pretty close to civic centre which is another gorgeous part of town. There's a lot of food and drink options nearby, some top rated brunch restaurants just a block away. Also not far from the mission district, really quite central.

I was in contact with two ladies at the reception and both were really nice and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I was delighted by the complementary offerings, including a bottled water in the room, a glass of wine in the late afternoon, and coffee at the restaurant in the morning. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a comfortable bed and pillows. I also liked the note on the bed with a QR code leading to a selection of books to read. The hotel has a great location, just a few minutes walk from Union Square, added to the overall excellent experience.
